Introduction

Ingredients

*Biscuits:
1 cup Jiffy baking mix
1/3 cup 2% milk
.5 oz mozzerella cheese, grated
.5 oz mild cheddar cheese, grated
*Gravy:
1 lb package Gimme Lean veggie sausage
2 tbs olive oil
1 cube onion boullion
1 oz chopped white onion
2 cups 2% milk
2 tbs all purpose flour
Directions
*Serving size- 2 biscuits, about 1 cup gravy
*makes 8 biscuits
Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Biscuits:
Combine 1 cup Jiffy mix, 1/3 cup milk, and grated cheeses in a medium bowl. mix, don't knead.
Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes.
Gravy:
In a separate bowl, mix 2 cups milk and flour. Beat w/whisk until smooth, no lumps
In large skillet, on low to medium heat, heat olive oil w/onion and seasoning.
Crumble in "sausage", cook and stir until browned.
Once "meat" is brown, and oil is cooked up, slowly add milk/flour mixture, about 1/2 cup at a time.
Stir constantly, making sure milk mixture doesn't burn. Keep stirring till sausage and milk mixture reaches creamy gravy consistency.
Season w/salt and pepper, as needed.
Slice biscuits in half, pour gravy over top, serve, and enjoy.
