Introduction
A favorite of my mother's.Can add other veggies such as: broccoli, cauliflower, water chestnuts, green onion, black olives, sliced carrots, etc. Would then require a recipe adjustment calculation, for change in nutrition facts. A favorite of my mother's.

Ingredients

2 medium tomatoes, sliced
1 medium red onion, sliced thinly
1/2 c (or abt 20 strips) each, of 3 colored bell peppers.
1 cucumber, sliced (peel or no peel)
1 celery stalk, sliced
1/2 jalapeno pepper diced, remove seeds
2 cloves garlic
**Good Seasons Italian Dressing

**Dressing Ingredients for this recipe:
1 Good Seasons Italian Dressing pkt
2 tsp sugar (optional or use sweetner pkt)
3 Tbs Olive Oil
3 Tbs Canola Oil
1/2 c Cider Vinegar

Directions
Prepare Veggies, slicing all. Rinse thouroughly. Set aside.
Prepare dressing.
In container with lid, combine all ingredients and chill in refridgerator overnight preferably. Allowing veggies to gain flavor of dressing is preferred.
Sugar is optional, can be changed to sweetner or left out entirely. In this case, used to sweeten recipe a little.
Other veggies can be added, or exchanged in the place of this recipe's chosen veggies. This would require an updated calculation for new nutrition facts.
1 serving can also be put over a bed of lettuce, and no additional salad dressing is necessary. The liquid in with the veggies will provide enough taste that additional salad dressing just isn't needed.
