Introduction

This is my own variation on the McCormick's Mild Chili Seasoning Mix recipe. This is my own variation on the McCormick's Mild Chili Seasoning Mix recipe.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb Ground Venison
    1 15.5oz. can of Kidney Beans-undrained
    1 15oz. can of Black Beans-undrained
    1 14.5oz. can of no salt added diced tomatoes-undrained
    1 8oz. can of no salt added tomato sauce
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 Packet McCormick's Mild Chili Seasoning Mix (or use another type if you prefer yours with more zip)

Directions

Brown ground venison in a pot large enough to hold all ingredients. Drain fat (with venison there will not be much)
Add all other ingredients and stir to mix well.
Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat & simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Makes 6 1.5-cup servings.

    Very Good
    Yummy! I had this for dinner tonight, since I was busy processing the deer hubby shot a couple of days ago. Made it even lower sodium by using kidney beans I had cooked from dry (I make ahead, they freeze well).. but rinsing the canned beans would reduce sodium approximately 40%. - 11/18/12
