    800gm minced beef
    1 medium onion
    15 medium mushrooms
    2 oxo cubes
    187ml Red wine
    2 tblsp garlic
    4 tablsp tomato paste
    440g tinned tomatoes
    3 Bay leaves
    tblsp olive oil
    mixed herbs


Cook onion and garlic first in olive oil until golden and transparent

Add meat and cook until brown throughout drain excess liquid (fats) if necessary.add all other ingredients and simmer until meat soft and all heated through and combined well.

Serve with 3/4 cup of cooked pasta of your choice

  • Very good, but the ingredients show only .72 cup pasta for the whole recipe so be sure to add the pasta to your foodtracker. Perhaps the author could revise the recipe? - 9/14/08
