Introduction

This is very good and a nice crock pot meal for a lazy Sunday. This is very good and a nice crock pot meal for a lazy Sunday.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    3 pieces Boneless,skinless chicken breast
    1 tbls Olive Oil
    2 cups whole mushrooms (slice)
    1 cup onions (thinly Sliced)
    2 cans tomatoes (crushed)
    3 cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
    1 cup red wine

Directions

1) Brown chicken in skiller w/ olive oil over med heat, cut chicken into chunks, place in Slow cooker
2) Add Mushrooms and onions to skillet, cook for about 4 minutes, add garlicand saute for about 2-3 minutes or until mushrooms release juice and onions are translucent
3) pour red wine into skilletand scrape any browned bits on the bottom w/ wooden spoon. Cook stirring occasionally until wine is slightly reduced (2-3 Minutes)
4) Stir in tomatoes bring to a simmer
5) Pour mixture over chicken in slow cooker, cover and cook on low for 4 hours
