Actually the carb count is what it states. If u r using syrup u have 2 take into consideration the carbs in that as well. Also a serving is 1 pancake so if u r eating more than that I can see why your blood sugar spiked up. But even if u r eating 1 pancake the syrup alone will do that. God bless :) - 4/28/15

I"m sorry but I have to ammend my comment. While this was a very good pancake, I think the carb count must be way off because it spiked my blood sugar almost up to 300. That is so disappointing...while it is a very tasty pancake I will not be making it again :( - 12/11/11

Made these for dinner tonight. :) Yum! Everything I left the same except I only had 1 % milk to use so I used that instead. Soooo good! Worth it and very easy to make. A keeper in my book! - 4/12/16

  • These came out better than any pancake recipe I've ever made, light or not. I used one c. 2% milk and 1/4 c. water (because I had less millk than I thought, ha ha) and added 1 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Light and fluffy, and I ate five without feeling guilty. 5 stars :) - 11/18/11

  • BRILLIANT! I agree with CHHALIYA that the lack of 'specialist' ingredients (which are often unavailable in the UK) was a blessing! A proper recipe, thank you :) - 2/25/11

  • Made for Breakfast this morning. I love whole wheat pancakes, however these were a little "plain". All you could taste essentially was whole wheat flour. My husband and son did not like them. I would cook these again for myself, however will look for other options for family pancake breakfast. - 2/13/11
