Introduction

This recipe will make you switch from beef burgers to turkey burgers once and for all! This recipe will make you switch from beef burgers to turkey burgers once and for all!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 pound extra lean ground turkey
    1/4 cup breadcrumbs
    4 teaspoons cilantro, dried or fresh
    1/2 teaspoon rosemary, dried or fresh
    1/2 teaspoon curry powder
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon pepper, red or cayenne
    Pam or extra virgin olive oil

Directions

Mix all dried ingredients together in a small bowl. Get your hands into it! Mix the bredcrumb and spice/herb mixture into the turkey meat. Mash together until thoroughly mixed.

Separate into 4 balls and squish into patties. Preheat skillet over medium heat. Spray with Pam or extra virgin olive oil. Cook turkey patties in skillet on both sides until done, about 4 minutes each side.

    I made this exactly how it said to and thought it was great! Put FF cheese on it and served them on Earthgrains 100% whole wheat thin buns(first time)! My 17 month old even liked it! - 1/27/10

    I loved these! I used cayenne pepper and they came out spicy in a good way. Plus it's a nice way to get some lowfat protein in a meal. Definitely will make again. - 8/2/09
