Ingredients
-
1 pkg Pillsbury Pizza Crust
1/2 c. Prego Organic Tomato & Basil Sauce
8 oz grilled, sliced chicken strips
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped bell peppers, any color
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
6 oz. Mozzarella cheese
Directions
Season chicken according to your preference. (I added garlic salt, Cavendar's Greek Seasoning, Lime Pepper, and a little Liquid Smoke. Liquid Smoke is awesome!)
Grill chicken.
Spread crust out onto a greased pan. Bake at 400* for about 7 minutes. Remove from oven.
Saute the onion and bell pepper in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or until tender.
Cover with the sauce. (It's not supposed to be as much as with regular pizza.) Then add veggies, sliced chicken, and cheese. Bake another 10 minutes or until crust looks done.
Makes about 11 pieces.
------------------------------------------------------------
You can add spinach leaves, or small pieces of ham. Or other veggies. I'd have tried the spinach leaves if my two boys wouldn't have had a fit! :)
