Introduction

I love pumpkin in the fall and I love oatmeal...such a comfort food! Added an egg white to get protein with my whole grain carbs. I love pumpkin in the fall and I love oatmeal...such a comfort food! Added an egg white to get protein with my whole grain carbs.

Ingredients

    1.5 cups plain ole oatmeal
    1 cup water
    .5 cup of canned pumpkin (not pie mix just plain pumpkin)
    some pumpkin pie spice to shake in and some sweetner of choice...I used splenda to taste.

Directions

I put the oatmeal and water in and started the cooking over med/high heat.
As that started to heat up I got the egg white ready and the 1/2cup pumpkin.
I added the egg white, stirring quite a lot so that the egg white wouldn't be all clumpy cause I don't like that. (gag!!) Added the pumpkin and stirred all together till blended...then added the spices and sweetner to taste and EAT!
