Ingredients

    1 pkg. Duncan Hines cake mix, any flavor 1/4 cup egg subutute
    1/2 Cup.Crisco shortening OR replace with
    1/2 .cup applesauce
    drops of water if needed

Directions

Blend all ingredients in large bowl. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen cookies. Can add nuts, chocolate chips. Opt.

    Very Good
    This is a wonderful quick cookie option. I made it with white cake mix , 2 egg whites, 1/2 c applesauce and a 1/4 tsp cinnamon extract. Loved Them :) - 12/7/09

    Incredible!
    I have made cake mix cookies before. They are always a BIG hit. I made these with one egg and the applesauce option,I added toffee bits... Terrific! I had made a giant cookie ( fits a large pizza pan, for son's party ( adjust time cook for 24 min.) - 7/2/09
