Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1. Fresh spinach 1 bunch
    2. Yellow spilt beans-1 cup
    3. safflower oil or any other cooking oil-1 tsp
    4. Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
    5. Cumin seeds 1 tsp (flat)
    6. salt to taste.
    7. Sugar 1 tea spoon (optional)

Directions

Wash and cut the spinach leaves across the axis and keep aside. Roast the yellow split beans on a heavy bottom pan andtill they turn golden brown.
Transfer it into a pressure cooker and cook with two and half cup of water on full pressure for 2 mins.(simmer the gas after reaching the highest steam point.) Heat oil on a deep fry pan and cumin seed. When these start cracking add the spinach, turmeric and salt. cook until the whole thing dried up ( very little water left in the pan) . Add the boiled yellow beans to that and cook for further 2 to 5 mins may add a little sugar and a further salt as per the taste.
