Introduction

A flavorful reduced sugar marinade to complement the Thanksgiving, or any day, turkey! A flavorful reduced sugar marinade to complement the Thanksgiving, or any day, turkey!

Ingredients

    5 # turkey breast, fresh (or thawed)
    1 medium bottle of sugar free Log Cabin Maple Syrup
    1 can cranberry sauce
    1 medium onion, chopped finely
    4 tablespoons butter

Directions

Wash and clean the turkey; place in a roaster that's been lined with foil. In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, cranberry sauce, onions, and butter. Microwave for 2 minutes, until everything is melted. Stir. Pour the mixture over the turkey, including inside the cavity. Make sure the mixture also is between the skin and the meat of the turkey.

Cover with foil. Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 2 1/2 hours, or until done. (Test with a meat thermometer.)

Cool for 45 - 60 minutes.
