Ingredients

    5 Gala apples, thinly sliced
    2 TBsp butter
    1/4 Cup orange juice
    1/3 Cup packed brown sugar plus 2 tbsp
    1 tsp cinnamon
    4 1/2 tsp cornstarch

Directions

Slice apples and pour a little orange juice over them, just enough to coat and keep from turning brown. Combine cinnamon and 2 tbsp of brown sugar and stir into apples, coating evenly. Pour apples into 9x9 baking dish sprayed with pam.

Melt butter in small sauce pan over medium heat. Stir in remaining brown sugar, orange juice and cornstarch till thoroughly combined. Pour over apples and bake for 30 minutes. 350 degrees

I like to top the apples with a few paper thin slices of butter and 2-3 tbsp of brown sugar.
