Ingredients

    1 lb. 93% ground turkey
    1/2lb ground pork sausage
    2 eggs
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 cup old fashioned oats
    1 10 oz. pkg. frozen spinach, defrosted and drained well
    4 cloves minced garlic
    salt &pepper
    2 tbl. oregano
    1 tbl basil

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. put oats in mini chopper and chop until fine. Do the same for onion. Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Form into balls (I use a cookie scoop), place on cookie sheet with parhcment or cooking spray. Bake 20-25 until cooked through and slightly brown on the bottom.

    Very Good
    This turned out to be very good. I added a pkg. of Lipton Beef Onion Soup Mix for a little more flavor. I like the fact that there is oatmeal instead of bread crumbs. - 1/14/09
