Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 Cup Textured Vegetable Protein
    1 Can Diced Tomatos
    1Can Tomato Paste
    2 Cans Large Tomato Sauce
    2 1/4 teaspoons salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    2 teaspoon sugar
    1/4 teaspoon oregano
    1/4 teaspoon crushed chiilies
    1/4 teaspoon basil
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 tablespoon dry mustard
    2 bay leaves
    1/4 cup chopped onions
    1/4 cup mushrooms
    1/4 cup chopped green peppers

Directions

Soak Textured Vegetable Protein with 1 cup water.
Meanwhile add all ingredients in slow cooker.
Mix in T.V.P.
Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Serve over cooked whole wheat spagetti .

    Incredible!
    This recipe was very tasty, and the aroma that came from it made the house smell wonderfull.
    The fact that it had no meat in it, would make this dish very healthy especially if you were an individuale that had high Colesterole.
