This was very good. I don't know what icing sugar is, but I used powdered sugar and it worked for what I needed it to work for. - 10/31/09

Tasted great! Very easy to make and easy to get to the thickness you desire. I would decrease the amount of butter used a little bit if you're frosting some already butter-heavy sugar cookies, though. Otherwise they come out tasting really buttery, although still really tasty. :) - 6/14/09

I assumed it was not an American recipe due to "icing sugar" for which I use confection sugar and the 1/5 cup of milk which I were shot just below the 1/4 cupMark. It worked great! I love this recipe. - 12/25/12
