Ingredients

    Blueberries, frozen (unsweetened), 200 grams
    Apples, fresh, 200 grams
    Flour, Self Raising (UK), 200 grams
    Ground Almonds, 25 grams
    Margarine, hard, 75 grams
    *Organic cane sugar, 25 grams
    Water, tap, 150 mls
    Lemon Juice, 1 tablespoon

Directions

Cut apples into small pieces put in pan, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 150 mls of water. Cook on gentle heat until cooked but still firm. Place the blueberries over the bottom of an oven proof dish and pour the apples over all. Stir gently to distribute the two types of fruit evenly.

In a mixing bowl put the self raising flour and margarine. Rub together until the consistency of bread crumbs. Fold in the ground almonds and the cane sugar. Tip the mixture over the fruit lining the oven proof dish. Pat this topping down roughly flat. Place in a HOT oven for approximately 30 minutes or simply until deep golden brown on top. Serve with fat free creme fraiche, or fat free natural yogurt, or a mixture of both...
