Ingredients

    1 apple, peeled, seeded and cut into 6 slices
    1 pear, peeled, seeded and cut into 4 pieces
    2 mint leaves, or 1/4 t. dried
    3 t. margarine
    1/2 t cinnamon
    pinch cloves
    1/2 t. ginger
    1/2 T. honey
    1/4 t. vanilla
    1/2 t. sugar

Directions

Serves 2. Peel & seed apple and pear. Cut into 6 & 4 pieces respectively. Melt margarine in tagine; arrange fruit in tagine base. Sprinkle with herbs, spices and sugar. Drizzle with honey and vanilla. Cover with lid, and put in a 325 oven for about 20-25 minutes.
