    1lb lean ground beef
    1 cup chopped onion
    1cup long grain rice cooked
    4 cups chopped cabbage
    1 can tomato soup
    pepper(to taste)
    1 can diced tomato's


In a heavy saucepan with a lid
brown 1lb of lean ground beef,drain off fat,add 1 cup chopped onion.cooked rice,tomato soup,pepper and mix well,chop cabbage and add to top of meat mix.Top with can of diced tomato's,sprinkle with parsley (optional)Cover with lid and simmer till cabbage is tender.(can be baked in oven )

    I love cabbage and I'm definitely going to try this one! My doctor has told me to lay off the red meat so I'm going to try it with ground turkey instead. But it sounds wonderful! - 1/1/09

    I've made this recipe several times in my crockpot, and the only thing I need to tell you is make sure the measurements are exact, and don't double the recipe, or it will not turn out good! It is absolutely delicious! Now I have instructions for making it in the oven, I can't wait to make it again - 1/1/09
