Ingredients

1/2 lb. ground beef lean or ground turkey
1/4 C. chopped onion
1 C. Mixed vegetables
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
1 jar (12oz) beef gravy
1/4 tsp. dried marjoram leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 C. Water
2 TBSP margarine
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 C. non-fat milk
1 1/3 C. plain mashed potatoe mix (dry)
1 TBSP chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Makes 4 one cup servings
1. In a 12 in. nonstick skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey and onion over med.-high heat, stirring frequently, until beef or turkey is thoroughly cooked, drain.
2. Stir in mixed vegetables, tomatoes, gravy, marjoram and pepper. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; simmer 8 to 10 mins., stirring occasionally, until veggies are tender.
3. In a 2 quart saucepan, heat water, margarine, and garlic to boiling. Remove from heat; add the milk.
4. Stir in potatoe mix and parsley; let stand about 30 seconds or until liquid is absorbed. Fluff potatoes with fork. Serve beef mixture over potatoes.
