I love Red River cereal. I usually make mine with an apple, cinnamon and brown sugar. This is a terrific alternative. Thanks! - 10/4/11

    Incredible!
I usually use two bananas and about 15 cut-up prunes or dried apricots. This adds a few more calories, but I love that touch of sweetness. When I modify the recipe like this, I get about seven servings. - 11/10/11

Yummm!! Thanks. I like the addition of the banana..smells wonderful. I will add a bit more water next time and cook for 1 more minute.....I'm guessing my microwave varies from yours. Great idea making the big batch and having it ready. Thanks for the time and energy saving tip! - 2/8/11

I live in Texas and I cannot find this cereal locally. However, you can buy it online from the Smucker's store. I bought it from them recently. Had to buy 6 boxes, though. Also, available from Amazon.com. But I think you have to buy 12 boxes. It's easy to spot, though, comes in a red box. - 10/27/09
