Introduction

Easy Mexican Style Turkey and black bean chili. Easy Mexican Style Turkey and black bean chili.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 package ground turkey 93% lean
    2 cans mexican style stewed tomatoes
    1 can corn, rinsed
    2 cans black beans, rinsed
    salt and pepper to taste
    cumin
    2 cups water

Directions

Brown the turkey and drain (if you need to) return to pot and add 2 cups of water. Rinse beans and corn after opening and add to pot along wih entire cans of tomatoes. Add salt, pepper and cumin to taste, let stew 45-60 minutes. Makes 6-8 servings. May add cheese or serve over Fritos for a little bit extra (not counted in nutritional info)

    Made this using left over smoked wild turkey instead of the ground turkey. Yumm! - 10/29/09
