Ingredients

    2.5 cups Farfalle Pasta
    1 can white beans, drained and rinsed
    2 cups green beans, cut into 1 inch pieces
    0.5 cup scallions, chopped
    2 cups fresh spinach
    1 cup fresh basil, chopped
    1 cup pasta sauce
    1 tbsp fennel seed, crushed
    2 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp black pepper




Directions

Makes 4 servings

1. Prepare pasta according to package directions.

2. Three minutes before pasta is finished, add green beans to pasta to blanch.

3. While green beans are blanching, put white beans, spinach and basil into a colander.

4. When pasta/green beans are finished, drain water directly into colander with beans, spinach and basil.

5. Once completely drained return to pot over medium heat.

6. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well over medium heat for 2 minutes or until heated through.

7. Serve as is, or sprinkle with parmesan!
