This recipe calls for ground deer but any lean ground meat will work. It's also very good with ground chicken breast or turkey breast. 2 Cans Chili Hot Beans (undrained)
1 Can Light Red Kidney Beans (drained)
1 Can Pinto Beans (drained)
1 15 oz. Can Tomato Sauce
1 -2 lbs. Lean Ground Deer
Your favorite Chili Seasonings
16 oz water
Directions
Brown meat in large skillet. Drain fat.
Place browned meat in slow cooker.
Add tomato sauce, water, spices, beans and salt to taste (optional). Cover. Cook on High for approximately 2.5 hours then shift to Medium/Low until ready to serve.
Makes 6 8oz servings.
