Introduction

This is by far my favorite chili. These are the quantities I use to make a double batch. Any leftovers you may have are great in enchiladas. Recipe also freezes well.

Make sure you use the McCormick mix. The generic brands don't taste quite right.

Serve with chopped onions, shredded cheddar and tortilla chips for a delicious treat!

Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef
    2 cans petite diced tomatoes
    3 cans dark red kidney beans
    4 cups water
    2 packets McCormick Chili Seasoning (entire packet)

Directions

Brown beef and drain well. Return beef to skillet and add chili seasoning. Stir well and cook for about two minutes. Dump in the cans of tomatoes and beans. Add water and stir well. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.

Serves 12-16.
