Introduction

This a wonderful meal, especially on a cold day. This a wonderful meal, especially on a cold day.

Ingredients

    2# Top Round Steak
    1 can Beef Broth
    1 can Del Monte Original Recipe Stewed Tomatoes
    1 Tsp Brown Sugar (opt)
    1 C carrots, cut into strips
    1 C Green Bell Pepper, cut into strips
    1/2 C chopped onion
    1/4 cup Flour
    Salt / Pepper to taste

    Dredge steak through flour/salt/pepper mixture. Brown in olive oil. Place in slow cooker. Add vegetables to remaining oil in skillet and saute until onions are translucent. Pour on top of steak. Add beef broth. Add brown sugar to tomatoes (to cut acidity) and pour into crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 6 - 8 hours. Serve over rice or noodles. Makes it's own broth.

Directions

Place in crockpot on low for 6 - 8 hours or high for 4 - 6. Makes 10 1 Cup servings.
