Introduction

This is something I threw together when I was thinking I had diced tomatoes on hand but didn't. The salsa does make the sauce a little more liquid than a normal marinara, but still packs quite the punch. I actually used skinless chicken tenders when I made it but since they weren't in the calorie calculator, calculated assuming an equivalent to 3 skinless chicken breasts. Ingredients

1 jar spaghetti sauce (I used Ragu Roasted Garlic)
    1 cup sliced button mushrooms
1 cup salsa (I used Pace Chunky Style, Medium)
    1 package skinless chicken tenders
1 package whole wheat spaghetti, cooked

Directions

Add chicken, spaghetti sauce, salsa and mushrooms to a crockpot on "Low" setting. Cook for about 8 hours. Makes about 5 1-cup servings (this is honestly a best guess).

Number of Servings: 5
