Ingredients

2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
    2 carrots, sliced
    1 large stalk celery, diced
    .25 large onion, diced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
.5 pound beef round steak, cubed
1 can green beans, low sodium
    1 can sweet corn
1 can beef broth, fat free, low sodium
    .5 tsp ground black pepper
    .25 tsp dried parsley
    2 cups water

Directions

Place the raw veggies in the crock pot, top with the beef. Place the corn and green beans on top of the meat. Pour the beef broth and water over all. Season with pepper and parsley. Cover and cook on high for 10 hours (my crock pot is an older model that doesn't do a very good job of cooking on low...some of the newer models may enable you to adjust the cooking time or temp.)

This makes the whole house smell so good. It tastes great and freezes well in individual serving sized containers.
