Ingredients

    97% Fat Free Ham (1.5 lbs)
    8 medium Idaho potatoes, thinly sliced
    1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
    black pepper (2 tsp)
    cheddar cheese soup (1 can, 10 3/4 oz)
    1/4 cup fat free shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Layer half of ham, potatoes, and onions in bottom of crock pot. Sprinkle with 1 tsp of pepper. Layer with remaining ham, potatoes, and onions. Sprinkle with remaining pepper. Spoon soup over the top. Top with shredded cheese. Cook 8-10 hours on low heat or 4 hours on high.

    I don't understand the bad feedback?! I've made this (almost) exact same thing sooo many times and LOVE it!! As far as the sodium goes, well just make substitutions for yourself...or drink lots of water. I don't think it's right to rate it as bad because it has more sodium than you agree with!! - 4/11/09

    I loved this recipe! It was fast too which is always great for me. I am with you KevinHolly31 and Shannj77! Meals like this work for me. Plus, it's great to have a variety of modified recipes so you are not eating the same chicken and vegetables all the time. Thanks for sharing. Will keep as a fave! - 2/2/09

    terrible sodium, low nutrition i would puff like a ballon after eating this - 2/1/09

    I live in a household of extremely picky eaters. I also have very low blood pressure, and the sodium doesn't cause me any trouble on occasion. This is a low calorie, low fat meal that works for me and my family, and you really shouldn't rate something as bad unless you've tasted it.

    The recipe cheesy ham and potatoes calls 4 a can of cheesy cheddar soup we don't have that here in Australia wats a substitute - 3/3/13
