Introduction

This is a custard like treat thats yummy and can be made low-fat! This is a custard like treat thats yummy and can be made low-fat!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 (13oz) can non-fat evaporated milk
    1 (8oz) can fat free condensed milk
    3 large eggs
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1/4 cups dark brown sugar
    1 tbps cinnamon
    2 tbps vanilla extrat

Directions

In a large bowl milk the evaporated milk, condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Combine all the ingredinets well.

Pre-hear oven 350degrees

In a saucepan melt the sugar and brown suagr over medium heat.

In a glass pie pan pour the melted suagr into the pan making sure the bottom is completely coated. Pour the liquid mixer into the pan.

Place in the over for about 20-25 minutes or until the middle of the flan is soild.

*Tip* To get the flan out of the pan, flip the pan upside down on a serving place and allow the flan to cool this way. The flan will flop right out!

Makes 12 sevings when sliced!

    O.K.
    I made this for a Mexican themed potluck. It tastes good but it came out of the pan messy. Because the sugar had bubbled up onto the outside of the pan I waited to flip it so I wouldn't get burned. I may have waited too long. Also, it took 45 minutes to cook-maybe due to high altitude. - 4/24/17
