Ingredients

    1 cup uncooked long grain brown rice
    2 cups water
    2 cups frozen peas, thawed
    1 carrot, shredded
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 tsp low-sodium chicken bouillon graules
    1 tsp salt
    Dash of pepper

Directions

Place all ingredients in a 3-qt saucepan; cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is tender. Yield: 6 servings

    Tasted good. Kind of like ramen noodles only with rice. Will probably make again as it was easy and quick to make. - 2/25/09
