Ingredients

    1/2 cup of butter (Softened)
    1 cup sugar
    2 eggs (beaten)
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1 cup Sour Cream
    2 cups shifted flour
    1/2 Teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 heaping teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    For the Topping
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees
Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl
slowly add the eggs
In a separate bowl stir together the lemon juice and sour cream.
combine the dry ingredients
beginning and ending with dry ingredients, alternate adding with the sour cream to the butter mixture.
add the vanilla extract

Combine the topping ingredients in another bowl.

Grease the pan - two 9x5x3 Loaf pans. (I always use a bundt pan for this recipe)

Alternate putting a little of the topping and then a little of the batter into the pan. I usually put a layer on the bottom, then in the middle, and then finish with a lot on the top.

Bake for 1 hour or until a knife comes out clean
