I've also used baby food carrots & squash without my husband or kids ever knowing they're in there! Adjust the seasoning for your own tastes; I sometimes use garlic salt instead of regular. Ingredients

    2 c whole wheat elbow macaroni
    8 oz. reduced fat cheese product (like Velveeta Light), cut into cubes
    1/2 c 2 % milk
    1 pack (2.5 oz size) sweet potatoes (I use Gerber stage 1)
    1 tsp dry mustard
    salt & pepper to taste

Directions

1. Cook macaroni as directed by package. Drain and return to sauce pan.

2. Over low heat, add cheese, milk, sweet potatoes, mustard, salt, & pepper, and cheese to cooked pasta. Stir until cheese is melted and pasta is evenly coated.

Makes 4 servings.
