Ingredients

Crust:
4 c flour
1 pkg rapid rise yeast
1 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp veg. oil
Sauce:
1.5 c canned tomato sauce
1.5 c canned petite diced tomatoes
1 c Prego traditional sauce
1/2 c sugar
1 tbsp oregano
2 tbsp parsley
2 tsp onion powder
1.5 tsp garlic powder
1.5 tsp chili powder
1.5 cups Sargento Fancy 4 cheese Mexican
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and chopped
Directions
Combine ingredients for crust in large bowl and mix well. Add 1 1/2 cups warm water and mix until soft dough forms. Cover with a towel and let rise for 2 hours.
Combine sauce ingredients in 2 quart sauce pan and cook over low heat until it begins to bubble, stirring occasionally.
Cook chicken in olive oil in skillet over medium heat until golden brown. (Optional: season chicken with extra onion powder, garlic powder, and chili powder over chicken while cooking). Remove from heat and chop into small pieces.
Spread dough over pizza pan, leaving edges slightly thicker. Spread sauce evenly over crust. Sprinkle chicken evenly over sauce. Sprinkle cheese evenly over all.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes until crust and cheese are golden brown.
Makes 8 large slices.

Is cheese included in the calorie count? I dont see it listed in the ingredients. How much does the recipe call for? Thanks! UPDATE: Made it now that I know the cheese amount and WOW...LOVED IT! I also added red onion and jalepeno just because we like things hot. Thank you for sharing this. 5 stars! - 2/17/09
