Introduction

This is for a firm homemade yogurt. If you want to cut some of the calories and have a softer yogurt decrease the dried milk and gelatine. This is for a firm homemade yogurt. If you want to cut some of the calories and have a softer yogurt decrease the dried milk and gelatine.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    2 quarts of nonfat milk
    2 c. dried milk (not reconstituted)
    1 pkg. Knox gelatine
    2 tsp. Natren Yogurt Starter

Directions

Place milk, dried milk and gelatin in large pan and stir to mix. Heat while continually stirring till mixture reached 180 degrees then remove from heat and cool to 111-113 degrees.


Mix starter with a small amount of cooled milk and return all to mixture.


Place in yogurt maker for 4 hours. Cool in refridgerator for 8 hours.


Do not disturb to much or yogurt will drop the whey.
