Great snack to munch on with protein and fiber. You can vary the ingredients according to your supply or your tastes.

Ingredients

    1/2 c canola oil
    1/2 c honey
    4 c whole oats ( not quick )
    1 c wheat germ
    1/2 c brown sugar packed
    1/2 c coconut
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c pecans, walnuts, or sunflower seeds
    1 c dried fruit, such as cranberries
    1/4 c slivered almonds

Directions

Boil oil and honey together. Set aside. Mix together the rest of the ingredients and stir in honey mixture. Stir together well. Bake in a shallow pan at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. You make bake longer if you want it crunchy.
