Introduction

Ingredients

    1 mango, peeled, seeded and diced

    1 small onion, finely chopped (about 1/3 cup)

    1 avocado, peeled, pitted and diced

    3 Roma or plum tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped

    Zest of lime (or lime juice)

    1 tsp. minced ginger root

    ¾ tsp dried cilantro (or ¼ cup fresh cilantro) – I used the dried

    ½ tsp kosher salt

Directions

Combine all salsa ingredients in a glass bowl. Stir to blend, and set aside at room temperature until fish has finished cooking.

    Loved this salsa. Great mix of flavors. Left out the tomato because I didn't have any and added a thinly chopped serrano pepper for kick. Thanks for sharing! - 8/24/10
