Introduction

Wholemeal rolls with crunchy, tasty sunflower seeds. Wholemeal rolls with crunchy, tasty sunflower seeds.
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    500g strong wholewheat flour
    1tsp salt
    1tsp dried yeast
    50g sunflower seeds
    2tbsp sugar
    1tbsp skimmed milk powder
    300ml lukewarm water
    2tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Directions

Makes 15 rolls

Sift flour into a bowl

Add yeast, sunflower seeds, sugar and milk powder. Stir dry ingredients together.

Add water and oil and stir with a fork.

When ingredients are mixed, take the dough onto a floured surface and kneed for 5mins.

Put in a bowl, greased with olive oil, for 1 hour.

Beat back down and shape into 15rolls.

Place rolls on baking sheet in a 220C oven for 15 minutes.
