Introduction

One of those, "Yum, i want lentil soup, and I have to make do with what I have" soups. :) One of those, "Yum, i want lentil soup, and I have to make do with what I have" soups. :)
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 Cups Brown Lentils
    14.05 oz Lean Ham (cut up)
    4 Large Carrots, chopped
    1.5 Large Onions, chopped
    4 Stalks Celery, chopped
    2 Cups Homemade Beef Stock
    4-6 Cups Water (depending on Size of crockpot)
    Garlic, Black pepper and Salt Substitute to taste
    4 Plum Tomatoes, chopped

Directions

Toss everything except for water into the crockpot. Fill with as much water as you need to in order to fill up the crockpot. Cover and cook on high for at least 6 hours, or until lentils are tender.

Makes ~8 one cup servings.
