Introduction

Pancake mix can be done much healthier using light pancake mix and butter. This is just exactly what I did for the kids. Pancake mix can be done much healthier using light pancake mix and butter. This is just exactly what I did for the kids.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 Medium Golden Delicous Apple
    1 Tablespoon Butter
    Cinnamon
    1 Teaspoon Sugar

    Pancake Mix
    Water

Directions

Chop apple in to small bite size pieces and place in microwave safe bowl. Sprinkle with cinnamon generously. Top with a bit of sugar. Place Tablespoon of butter on top. Microwave on High for 1 minute. Give a stir and microwave for another 45 sec. to one minute. Set to side.
In seperate bowl prepare pancake mix by following box directions, Leaving out a bit of liquid incredients (this makes up for liquid in apple mix)
Combine apple mix and pancake mix.
Cook as recommended on pancake mix box.
