Ingredients

1 Med tomato, chopped
1 can (8 oz) pineapple chunks in juice, drained and chopped
1 cup chopped Mango
1 jalopeno pepper *, seeded & minced
2 Tbl chopped fresh cilantro
1 Tbl minced red onion
1/2 tsp grated lime zest
4 tuna steaks ( 4oz ea)
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
2 tsps olive oil
* Jalopeno peppers can sting and irritate the skin, so wear rubber gloves when handling peppers and do not touch eyes during preparation
Directions
To make slsa, combine tomato, pineapple, mango, jalopeno, cilantro, onion, lime zest, and lime juice in medium bowl. Note: Jalopeno is a taste perference.
Sprinkle tuna with salt and pepper. Heat oil in lg nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add tuna and cook 2 to 3 minutes on ea side for medium-rare or desired degree of doneness. Serve with salsa.
Makes 4 servings (1 tuna steak & 1/2 cup salsa)
