Introduction
Out of Milk? Love coffee? Try this... Out of Milk? Love coffee? Try this...Number of Servings: 3
Ingredients
-
2 large eggs
1/2 cup of your favorite flavor of Starbucks Frappuccino in the bottle
6 slices of wheat toast (we use Nature's Own Whole Wheat)
butter or margarine or cooking spray or a non-stick pan (we use butter on our cast-iron skillet)
syrup or powdered sugar or fruit (not included in recipe totals)
Directions
We were out of milk, but had a couple of Frappuccinos in the fridge. They're mostly milk, right?
So, in a medium sized bowl, mix up 1/2 cup of the Frappuccino and the two eggs. Add some vanilla if you like.
Heat up the skillet, and add something to make it non-stick, or use a non-stick skillet.
Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture. A little soaking does them good. When the skillet's hot, put the bread in and toast them up on both sides.
Serve them up with syrup or powdered sugar or some good strawberrys. A little cinnamon on top would be tasty, and they're good without any added flavor.
Makes 3 servings at 172 calories per serving.
