This is a great tomato sauce recipe. I use for my spaghetti and as a sauce for pizza. It's easy to do and tastes great.

Ingredients

    1/2 cup of olive oil
    1 Medium onions, chopped
    1 (28 ounces) can diced tomatoes
    8 cups of water
    12 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
    6 bay leaves whole
    4 cloves garlic, crushed or minced
    2 tsp salt
    2 tsp ground black pepper
    2 carrots cut in half
    1 tablespoon of Italian Seasoning

Directions

In a large stock pot over medium -high heat, saute onions in the olive oil until golden brown. Added the diced tomatoes, water, tomato paste, bay leaves, garlic, salt, pepper and italian seasoning. Peel the carrots and cut in half and put them in the sauce. Let the sauce come to a boil, lower the hear to low and stir occasionally until the desired thickness. Sauce is ready when the oil rises to the top. Skim off the oil. Take out the carrots.

This makes 26 servings.
