Ingredients

1 8-oz package 1/3 less fat Cream Cheese
1 12.5-oz can chicken breast, drained
    2 T milk
    Salt and pepper
2 1/4 cups Heart Smart Bisquick
    2/3 cups milk

Directions

In a small saucepan, combine cream cheese and 2 tablespoons milk. Stir over low heat until cream cheese is melted. Blend in drained chicken breast, and add salt and pepper to taste.

In a bowl, mix Bisquick and 2/3 cups milk. It is best to add the milk gradually, because you may not need quite all of it. Turn out onto a floured surface and knead, if necessary.

Divide dough into twelve portions, and roll each into a roughly 4" circle/square. Place 1/12th of the chicken mixture (about 2-3 tablespoons) into the center of each square. Bring up the sides of the square and pinch together to enclose the chicken.

If baking right away, bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

These also freeze well; just lay them out on waxed paper on a cookie sheet. Once frozen, they can be moved to a Ziploc bag. If baking frozen, bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.

Makes 12 biscuits.
