Ingredients

    .5 cup whole wheat four
    .5 cup reg oats
    1 tsp baking powder
    .25 tsp cinnamon
    .25 cup walnuts
    1 egg
    2 cups blueberries
    1 cup blackberries
    2 med apples (or nectarines)

Directions

mix dry ingredients in blender. add egg to moisten.
place fruit in shallow baking dish. pour crumb mixture over fruit.
bake at 350degrees for 30-35 minutes.

    It's good. But definitely in the "diet food" category. Husband was not thrilled. Next time I'll give him some ice cream or whipped cream to go with for sure. I ate it for breakfast this morningthough and it was great! - 8/15/09

    This recipe is a decent substitution for fruit crisp without all of the fat and sugar. The topping turned out crunchy like granola. Not bad for diet food. I made this for dessert but I think it will make a good breakfast in the morning. - 6/23/09
