Introduction

a zesty mix from my own kitchen a zesty mix from my own kitchen
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    8oz tri colored pasta, cooked and drained
    1/2 cup fat free zesty italian salad dressing
    1/2 cup tomatoes - chopped
    1 small can clack olives - sliced
    1/4 cup red onions - chopped

Directions

Bring water to a rolling boil. Drop pasta into pot and cook until tender (8-10 minutes). Drain and cool(run it under cold water for about 5 minutes. toss the pasta to cool and remove excess water) Poor into a bowl. add onions, tomatoes and olives. toss with Zesty italian dressing. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

*note this is also excellent with roasted red peppers, and cucumbers in the mix.

    Made this today and it was very good, I also added cucumbers, low sodium black beans and grated mozzeralla cheese, this was a main course dish, not a side. I doubled everything, big family. For a little zip, I added a little apple cider vinegar and some honey to the dressing. - 5/22/11

    delicious!! I just added what I had available for a beach picnic side dish!! broccoli, peppers really added color!! I hope the family enjoys it tomorrow!! - 8/7/09
