I got the idea for this recipe from a chicken marsala recipe that I saw on here...Everyone enjoyed it!! Even a picky 6 yr old wanted more!!Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
About 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast
Approx 1/2 cup Marsala Cooking Wine
1 tbsp Celery Flakes & Parsley Flakes (each)
8 tbsp of Kraft Fat Free Catalina Salad Dressing
1 bag Frozen Green Beans (or your choice of veggies)
1 tbsp Garlic powder
1 tbsp Butter (I used Brummel & Brown Yogurt Butter..Which tastes just like the fattening butter with less calories and fat then "I cant believe its not butter Light"!!!)
2 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 small can of Mushroom halves and pieces(Optional)
Cooking Spray (I used Pam Olive Oil Spray)
Directions
Makes about 8 servings
~Cut 4 chicken breasts in half (Mine were kinda large)
~Lightly season with your choice of seasonings. I used some Parsley Flakes, Celery Flakes, garlic powder and Grill Mates Lemon Pepper with Herbs.
~Heat olive oil and "butter" together in frying pan on medium heat.
~Add chicken to pan and cook just long enough for both sides of chicken to be white---does NOT have to be cooked long----I added a can of mushroom pieces to the chicken in the pan, you could use fresh or omit them all together.
~Then add some Marsala Wine to the pan, I didnt really measure, but I would say about a half of a cup.
~After the mushrooms are cooked, I placed the frozen green bean mix in the bottom of a baking dish, after spraying the pan with Pam Olive Oil Spray.
~Place the chicken and mushrooms on top of green beans, then pour the mixture left in frying pan on top of the chicken.
Cook for about 30 mins or until chicken is cooked thoroughly.
And... The finishing ingredient!!!
~~KRAFT FAT FREE CATALINA DRESSING~~~(Store Brand would be okay.) Drizzle over entire dish, and ENJOY!!
**You could make the green beans separately, or use ur own choice of vegetables. This meal was fantastic and very filling!!
***If you make this recipe, let me know if u make any changes! I love trying new things!!
~~~I dont think the sodium content is correct on the nutrition info!!~~
