Introduction

Ingredients

    Half a cup of Quaker Oats
    25g dried raisins,dates or apricots(chopped)
    1 cup semi-skimmed milk
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    1 tsp Caribbean Essence (or 1tsp vanilla extract/1/2 tsp almond essence)
    1 small banana sliced
    25g fresh sunflower seeds
    1 pinch salt
    1/2 tbsp honey

Directions

Warm milk in saucepan,add pinch of salt,essences and cinnamon.Just before milk comes to boil add oats and dried fruit. Cook on a low to medium heat for five minutes,stirring occasionally.Pour over sliced banana,sprinkle on seeds and drizzle with honey.
Makes 1 breakfast bowl serving.
