Introduction
I was trying to think of a marinade for the steak I wanted to cook on Memorial Day, and this is what I came up with. I thought, "If Coke is a good enough marinade for the Outback, it's good enough for me!" And it turned out well enough that I thought I'd share it here. Ingredients

7 oz. Top Sirloin steak
1 tsp canola oil
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 - 4 ounces diet Cherry Coke
Directions
Mix oil, worcestershire, garlic and diet cherry coke in a zip-top plastic bag. Add slightly tenderized steak (I whacked mine with the meat mallet several times on each side) and refrigerate for a few hours. Turn steak several times during its stint in the fridge.
Preheat grill. (I used my George Foreman grill because it was raining.) Cook steak to desired doneness.
Makes 2 servings.
