Introduction
High fiber and high flavor vegan burgers. High fiber and high flavor vegan burgers.Number of Servings: 10
Ingredients

2/3 cup Brown Rice (may use barley), uncooked
2 cups Water
1 tsp Salt
1/3 cup Green Pepper, chopped
1/3 cup Onion, chopped
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1/4 cup Egg substitute
1/3 cup Wheat germ
1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
Directions
Cook rice (or barley) in the water with salt according to package directions. Stir during cooking to make it sticky.
Saute' vegetables in oil and add to cooked rice.
Stir in egg and enough flour to hold together.
Season with salt, cayenne pepper, soy sauce, etc... as desired.
Shape into patties, dredge with flour and brown on griddle or skillet (may spray with non-stick spray)
